I still remember the moment I picked up the first Kate Daniels book. I was so put off on how the vampires were written because they weren't the normal, mysterious, sexy but dangerous, vamps that everyone was coming up with. I am so glad I didn't give up and kept reading, considering this is by far my favorite series! I mean, who needs gorgeous vampires when you have Curran? I've been counting the days for the 9th book and the authors did not disappoint. She confronts her father, her dark side, and wedding jitters in this one. So many things happened! If you haven't given this series a try yet, you are missing out on a fabulous read.
